We used our x-mas gifts (thanks momo and papa) and went to the zoo today with Ben. As you can see Ben was the happiest when he got food!

 We are having a fun and busy summer. Ben is growing like a weed, which is making Mommy nostalgic.  Here is one picture that still makes us laugh out loud.  Somehow Josh never posted this picture.  This was Ben's newborn photo shoot. I like to think he was welcoming Josh to fatherhood....

.....And no, Josh didn't drop him!

Ben had his first road trip to Phoenix.  Thankfully he did very well on the five-hour car ride.  Of course Mommy kept him company and sat in the back with him.

You know how babies this age are fascinated by ceiling fans and lights?  Well, I had the bright idea, (no pun intended) to take him to Lowe's to see a whole bunch of lights and ceiling fans! Sad to report that other than buying picture-hanging nails, this trip was a bust.  He was less than amused....

Ben had his second pool attempt the other day and we managed to hang out in the water for a few minutes until he fell asleep....

One of my little buddies had his 9th birthday so Ben and I decided to drop by.  Chase was so eager to meet Ben.  Too cute. :)

Because not even five minutes later we all welcomed his new cousin, Baby Charlotte, into the world.  She is too cute!

They already love spending time together...

Ben loves listening to Dad play the guitar, and Dad loves playing to such an attentive audience.  :)

Ben can't wait to be a big boy.  He doesn't know he is only two months so he likes to sit up in his Bumbo.  Baby Ben, please don't grow up too fast!!

Every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man!

Ben had his first play date with Baby Lily.  She is only one day younger than Ben!  After a lot of playing, (okay, eating and burping) they were exhausted!

Emily, his would-be babysitter/neighbor was in town all the way from Texas and stopped by to visit.  We wish she was still our neighbor!

Update!!!

So I am not used to this whole blogging and keeping it up to date so here is about three weeks worth of photos....and yes Ben is less then a month old so it shows how often I do this.

So we had our annual trip to Oceanside and we had to do the picture with all the grandkids.  Erin and Sarah always complain and say they can never get a good photo of all the kids but I did pretty good and got almost everyone looking forward.   Now Drew wasn't feeling good because he had surgery that day and Jett was sleeping but I think this is better then any of theirs! Especially because Ben is in it!!!!

So I had my first Fathers Day and Nikki had a great idea and took a baseball and put Ben's handprints on it and put it in a case.   I can't wait until he will be able to play catch with me, it was a great Fathers Day!

So John had football practice and couldn't join us so Sean, Jett, Luke, and myself decided to go on Big Thunder Mountain.  Luke had never gone on it before so he was a little nervous.
